So I have been hearing that these Bombtech wedges becoming very popular recently.
I have not heard of Bombtech but have gone onto their website to see what they are all about.
They are the non-traditional golf brand that was created by a golf enthusiast.
He decided he wanted to make his own clubs and ended up doing it! Crazy right?
They don’t believe in breaking the bank when it comes to purchasing clubs which I like about them.
They avoided going retail and I think their fans really liked that too.
I was shocked by the price. $99.0o dollars for 3 wedges, 199.99 for a new driver.
Those are some super low prices. I was also thinking that they are just low-quality clubs but they are NOT!
They are super high-quality clubs that perform just as well as other clubs that are hundreds more.
After doing some research I found the main reason why they are able to keep such a low price is that they are not in the retail business.
When a company goes to retail stores, they spike up the prices.
This is why Bombtech is able to keep such low and affordable prices.
You can only get these online if you want them.
Let’s get into the BombTech wedges review!
The quality is definitely up there compared to Mizuno wedges. The materials used in these wedges are really good.
Take a look at those grooves they are top quality steel built to last.
Now the grip is also very high quality, it feels good. It is made from a cord material which is durable, and great for wet weather.
Overall the quality of these wedges can be compared to the Mizuno wedges, they are built with high-quality steel. When you hit them they are very similar to a club that would cost a lot more. If you are worried about the quality of these clubs you won’t be disappointed, they well designed. For this price, you can’t beat the quality of these wedges.
The feel is similar to a more expensive club like a Mizuno wedge. The control is great and it feels very pure when hitting theses wedges.
Grip feels comfortable and durable.
These wedges do have some weight on them if you don’t like a heavy wedge you might want to look elsewhere.
These Bombtech wedges are great from the sand, the added weight lets you hit down on the sand and pop that ball straight up.
I would compare these to a Mizuno and a Cleveland wedge. But with these wedges, you will get 3 wedges for a price of 1.
They perform well out of the sand and from heavy rough. The weight of the club head allows you to hit down on the ball resulting in the ball coming right out of bunkers or heavy rough.
Taking at look at the grooves they make it easy to put some good spin. Expect some spin on the greens.
From around the greens, the ball checks up nicely.
I do enjoy taking full shots with these wedges. Expect to feel a good club, it does not feel like the club wants to make a big divot, they allow you to scoop the ball without taking so much divot.
what other people are saying…
The bombtech clubs came in quickly and were of great quality. You can’t beat the price for what you get. I am glad that I pulled the trigger and bought them. I ended up buying the irons and driver from them as wellMatthew
