How to practice golf in your backyard
We dont have time to head over to the golf course for a practice round. You can go to the range but that can be very expensive if you go daily. But why waste time, if you can practice in your backyard.
One of my favorite things to do when I am home and in my backyard is practice my golf game.
Practicing your golf game daily is a must if you want to get ahead and improve your swing and your score.
There are several exercises you can do to practice golf in your backyard.
Practice with a a big net
Use these clubs to practice your ball striking. You wont know how far you hit the ball. But practicing your swing daily will help you get a great feel for your clubs.
Then If you would like to take a closer look at your swing you can film your swing. This way you know if you are rotating your hips, also you can see if your swing path is the way you want it to be. There are many small things that can be seen if you record your own swing.
A great tool you can use to record yourself is Golf training video recording system. Record your swing with your phone or tablet. Its super convenient to clip to your bag and to start recording your swing.

Practice your chipping
Can you believe that most golfers dont practice their short game enough!
Your short game is crucial if you want to be a better golfer. The approach shot from 100 yards in is so important.
Why do you think most professional golfers spend their days on the putting green or hitting their wedge.
Chipping is so convenient in your backyard. Simply set up a small mat, and a chipping net. Pull out your 60 degree lob wedge or other wedge and boom you are practicing like you would around the greens.
A great chipping net to use is the 23 in collapsible chipping net
If you really want to improve you golf game while having fun in your backyard get ready to practice.
I recommend you purchase a a large net and start practicing your driver,woods and irons.
For your chipping get a small net and practice your wedges.
